Here's our older list for the 5 best buffet restaurants in Manila:
1. Spiral, Sofitel
2. Heat, Edsa Shangrila
3. Circle, Makati Shangrila
4. Dads Saisaki Kamayan
5. Yakimix
After dining in at the Vikings Mall of Asia last night we updated the list and Spiral had to give way for Vikings for the number 1 spot. Spiral may be "Manila's most fashionable eatery", but Vikings serves the widest array of dishes that include Chinese, Japanese, Italian, Spanish, American, Mediterranean, and Filipino cuisine, not to mention the unlimited ice cream, softdrinks and BEER! It is also the only buffet restaurant I know that serves unlimited crabs, shrimps, baked oysters, and Peking duck. I wonder if they are still generating profits at the price of P880 per head?
We again have Ogie to thank for for another superb dining experience. Last year was great at Heat, Edsa Shangrila, but this year is even better at Vikings. I wonder where we'll be dining in next year?
Happy Birthday Ogie! Salamat at nabusog mo kami! =)
* Thank you also to the Sim Family for the treat. May the Lord repay you a tenfold for your generosity.
