MC3 Fashion Boutique 2nd Advertisement

This was MC3 Fashion Boutique's 2nd advertisement aired on Core TV (local channel in Ilocos Sur) late last year in preparation for the celebration of MC3's 5th year anniversary on December 8, 2010.

MC3 with the Stars!

Our MC3 Fashion Boutique in Vigan is just a small retail shop, but believe it or not, it has already been graced by several famous local stars from Manila. Our very first star-customer was (1) Yasmien Kurdi who bought a sexy jean shorts; followed by (2) Rachel Ann Go who left our shop with a new trendy blouse; and then (3) Valerie Concepcion who purchased a perfect long dress. Unfortunately we were not able to have pictures with them since we did not have a camera yet during their visits. After having our own camera, we made sure we had pictures with the succeeding stars who visited our store. Here they are:

This dress of  Nikki was given by MC3. She also bought 1 polo shirt with the map of Ilocos in it

MC3 Fashion Boutique 1st Video Ad

MC3 Fashion Boutique's 1st advertisement video aired on Ilocos' local channel Core TV some years ago. Instead of hiring local stars to model for this ad, we asked Mija's cousins and my siblings to do it instead. They were all game, and as a result, we had produced a fun and nice ad. Thanks to Bolet, Ogie, Charlou, Chummy, Jarel, Chokoy, Choki, Mika, and with the special participation of Wake Up Ilocos' star Ms. Jana Siratranont, and also to Nana Dalen.

MC3 Fashion Boutique

Mija & I are also business partners. We manage a small fashion store in Vigan that we named MC3 Fashion Boutique, but as per DTI registration it is Ur MC3 General Merchandizing. It was Mija's mother, Tita Vicky, who actually coined the name "MC3" referring to our identical initials M & C (Ma Victoria Cu, Mija Cu, Marty Cachapero).

Putting up this business venture was the common idea of Mija and Tita Vicky when they realized clothes they purchased in Hong Kong were piling up in their house. After few more purchases in Hong Kong and Guangzhou to augment our stocks, we finally decided to set the boutique up. We converted the former conference room portion of My Vigan Home Hotel (owned by Mija's family) as the site of our boutique. It is still vivid in my mind the time we were still planning and preparing for its opening with all the late night hassle and tussle, the setting up of the cabinets, packing & pricing of items, listing of inventories and hiring of staff. But all our efforts were not put to waste as we were able to wrap things up before our opening date, something we did not think was possible that time since we just had a couple of weeks to prepare.

We coincided the opening date with the feast of the Immaculate Conception on December 8, 2005. Just recently, we celebrated our 5th year anniversary.
